Become a Junior Volunteer

Learn to give back EARLY! Junior Mentor and Coach Programs were created for participants age 13+ to help model and teach the First Tee Program curriculum to our younger participants.

Volunteer Junior Mentor

Junior Mentors provide a vital service to the First Tee community by decreasing the student-to-instructor ratio in our classes, directly improving our young golfers’ learning experience and at the same time, they build their resumé and real-world career competencies. Junior Mentors will also gain community service hours for school, build teamwork skills, and earn “Leadership Service” hours toward their Ace certification, if applicable. Junior Mentors will work directly with our Coaches and will receive ample support, guidance, and seasonal coach trainings. High School Golfers seeking to fulfill volunteers hours, but are not apart of the First Tee Program, are also welcome to apply! There is no minimum hourly commitment, but weekly communication of availability to your assigned locations Program Coordinator is required.
