Game Changer Day Camps are half-day golf experiences where youth build skills, make new friends, and have fun through games and on-course activities.

Summer Camp Overview

First Tee – Greater Houston summer camps are open to youth ages 7–17, and participants must meet the minimum age requirement by the selected camp date. Each week, campers build their golf skills through fun, engaging rotations in Putting, Chipping, Pitching/Full Swing, and On-Course activities. Golf clubs are not required to participate. Campers will be properly fit with U.S. Kids Golf Clubs for the week.

Registration Fee:

The camp will run from 9:00am-12:00pm, Tuesday-Friday with an optional extended day option each day from 12:00pm-3:00pm for the following prices:

  • Gus Wortham – $250/camper | Extended – Day $100/camper
  • F.M. Law Park – $300/camper | Extended – Day $100/camper
  • Memorial Park – $350/camper | Extended – Day $150/camper

The Extended Day fee is a one-time charge. Availability is limited to 50% of campers and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. When registering online, the registration fee must be paid via credit card. Space is not held for incomplete registrations. Families should ensure they receive a confirmation email upon completing registration.

What to Bring:

Participants must bring a water bottle and snacks each day. Lunch will not be provided. First Tee – Greater Houston will provide equipment free of charge for use during camp for those that do not have their own. We will ensure that borrowed equipment meets the needs of your participant and is the correct size.

Summer Camp Policies

  • Registration Limits:
    Due to limited coaches, volunteers, and session capacity, families may register each participant for one (1) Summer Camp week. This ensures we can serve as many youth as possible and provide a high-quality experience for all participants.

  • Attendance Expectations:
    Attendance is a key component of each participant’s growth and overall experience. Campers are expected to attend all four (4) days of their registered camp week. Families are encouraged to select a session their youth can fully commit to.

  • Absences:
    We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. If a camper will be absent, please notify Coach Maya at [email protected] or (281) 459-8721 as soon as possible.

  • Refunds & Transfers:
    Deposits are tied to the specific camp week registered. A minimum of two (2) weeks’ written notice is required to cancel a camp week and receive a refund. Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to [email protected]. Camp week transfers are allowed at no cost if space is available.

  • Partial Attendance:
    Prorated tuition is not available for partial attendance of a camp week.

  • Late Pick-Up Policy:
    A 30-minute grace period is provided for camp pick-ups. If running late, families must call the host site to communicate their estimated arrival time. A $20 late fee will be collected at the time of pick-up.

  • Session Transfer Requests:
    Requests to transfer to a different camp week must be made at least two (2) weeks prior to the currently registered camp start date. Transfers are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Transfer requests must be submitted via email to [email protected].

  • Registration Confirmation:
    Space is not held for incomplete registrations. Families should ensure they receive a confirmation email upon completing registration.

Dress Code Policy

Participants are asked to wear golf or athletic attire that is weather appropriate. This includes appropriate length shorts or pants, shirts with sleeves, tennis or flat soled closed toe shoes. Bottoms with pockets are strongly recommended.

  • Hats/visors must be worn brim forward
  • Shorts/skorts must be of appropriate length
  • Collared or dri-fit shirts
  • Tennis, golf or flat-soled shoes

Prohibited Attire

  • Denim shorts, short-shorts, short tennis skirts, cut-offs, gym shorts, jeans
  • Tank tops, t-shirts

Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of inclement or possible inclement weather, a decision regarding the cancellation of programming will be made at a minimum 90 minutes before the scheduled start time. An email will be sent to the address on file and follow us on social media for the most up-to-date announcements.

  • If heat index reaches 90 degrees: We will keep campers out of the sun, all high intensity activities will be replaced. Only shaded activities remain outside.
  • If heat index reaches 95+ degrees: We will keep campers inside and all outdoor activities will be replaced.
