Summer Camp Overview
Our Game Changer Day Camps highlight Respect F.O.R.E S.O.S. — Friendships, Opportunities, Responsibilities, Engagement, and respect for Self, Others, and Surroundings. Each week, campers build their golf skills through fun rotations in Putting, Chipping, Full Swing/Pitching, and On-Course activities. Every week also has its own theme, including Superhero Week, Nature Week, Water Week, Sports Week, Operation 36 Academy Week, LPGA*USGA “5E” Girls Golf Week (Girls Only), and STEM Golf Week (Ages 8–14 Only). Campers do not have to own golf clubs to participate, but we will properly fit your student into U.S. Kids Golf Clubs that week. Participants must bring a water bottle and snacks each day.
Location
Game Changer Day Camps will be held at our F.M. Law Park facility (8400 Mykawa Road, Houston TX 77048).
Age Requirements
First Tee – Greater Houston is open to all youth between the ages of 7 to 17. Participants must be the minimum age required for camp by the specific camp date chosen to participate.
Participant Attendance
Attendance is a key component to the success, development, and progression of the First Tee program. As part of our Summer week long camp series, participants are expected to attend all program dates. We ask that while reviewing our schedule, you choose to register for a program that your youth can commit to for the full 4-days. Program space is limited and out of respect and courtesy for fellow participants, volunteers, and organizers, it is important to commit to the schedule.
If a camper has to be absent for unforeseen circumstances, we do understand! Please notify Coach Maya at [email protected] or (281) 459-8721 at your earliest convenience.
What to Bring
Participants must bring a water bottle and snacks each day. First Tee – Greater Houston will provide equipment free of charge for use during camp for those that do not have their own. We will ensure that borrowed equipment meets the needs of your participant and is the correct size.
