Why Golf?

Experiences are our greatest teacher. First Tee believes in developing the ones that are just as fun as they are meaningful, where kids feel excited to grow, safe to fail, and better equipped for whatever comes their way next. Through our personal growth and junior golf programs, we see kids’ build self confidence, inspiring more active participation in leadership opportunities and events, community involvement, and college scholarships.

Community Program:

We partner with 55 area non-profits such as: The Greater Houston Police Activities League; YMCA; Houston Parks and Recreation; Child Advocates of Fort Bend; Big Brothers Big Sisters; Including Kids; Boys and Girls Clubs; LPGA*USGA Girls Golf; and Urban Enrichment Institute to bring the program to life and introduce golf using games that are flexible to the ages and abilities of the kids involved.

What’s Provided?

Our Community Program gives youth development professionals and volunteer leaders the tools to get started. Our program adapts to any setting, class time, and class size. We provide training, equipment and lesson plans. Youth leaders also have access to First Tee’s online community for additional support, resources, and connection with peers.
